Job Position: Quality Control Inspection Supervisor

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

• The role ensures compliance with approved procedures, product specifications, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards, with emphasis on defect prevention, process compliance, internal audits, corrective action management, and quality improvement.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise the inspection, implementation and visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
2. Verify all inspection results and maintain accurate records.
3. Ensure that all products comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Supervise the inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
5. Ensure compliance with approved inspection plans, sampling procedures, and product specifications.
6. Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
7. Work with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
8. Monitor production processes to ensure they are operating within established quality parameters.
9. Verify product conformity following rework or corrective action before recommending release
10. Identify non-compliance with established procedures and qualty requirement.
11. Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
12. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, test results, and any defects or non-conformances.

Job Qualifications

• HND/ Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Materials Sciences or related field.
• Relevant quality management training or certification
• 3 – 5 years of experience in QC and QA
• Knowledge of plastic raw materials and manufacturing Processes.
• Previous experience supervising QC and QA personnel is required.
• Practical knowledge of injection moulding and blow moulding processes.
• Knowledge of product inspection, sampling, testing equipment, defect analysis, and quality documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
