E-doc is a data infrastructure platform that facilitates market access in Emerging Markets. We utilise Open Banking and a proprietary machine learning model to overcome regulatory hurdles and the challenge of limited financial data.

Job Summary

1. We are seeking a highly competent, delivery-focused Project Manager with a minimum of five years of proven experience managing complex technology projects, a strong consulting background, and extensive hands-on experience delivering projects within Agile environments.
2. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, technical understanding, and the ability to drive projects from initiation to successful delivery while managing demanding stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex business requirements.
3. The role requires a proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership, a proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes, and the ability to confidently manage client engagements, cross-functional teams, and strategic technology initiatives.
4. Experience within the fintech, digital banking, and Open Banking ecosystem will be a significant advantage.

Job Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. Relevant professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or an equivalent recognized qualification.
3. Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, governance principles, and technology delivery methodologies.
4. Sound understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.
5. Excellent business acumen, analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and strategic problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

1. Minimum of five years of demonstrable experience successfully managing and delivering technology, software development, digital transformation, or enterprise implementation projects.
2. Proven consulting experience, with direct responsibility for managing client engagements, stakeholder expectations, project deliverables, and business outcomes.
3. Extensive hands-on experience working within Agile environments, coordinating Scrum teams, managing delivery cycles, and driving continuous improvement.
4. Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
5. Proven track record of delivering projects within agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
6. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, complex dependencies, and competing business priorities.
7. Strong experience engaging senior executives, enterprise clients, technical teams, third-party vendors, and external delivery partners.
8. Demonstrated ability to lead project governance, risk management, change management, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
9. Experience coordinating software development, API integrations, system implementations, testing, deployment, and post-launch stabilization.
10. Exposure to financial services, fintech, digital banking, or Open Banking projects.

Must Have:
Project Delivery & Execution:

1. Proven ability to take full ownership of project delivery, driving execution, accountability, and successful outcomes across all project phases.
2. Strong expertise in project planning, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, milestone tracking, and delivery assurance.
3. Ability to establish and enforce effective project governance, reporting structures, escalation procedures, and change control processes.
4. Demonstrated capability to proactively identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, critical dependencies, risks, and issues before they impact project objectives.
5. Ability to manage complex implementation timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Agile & Technical Delivery:

1. Strong practical experience applying Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, within technology delivery environments.
2. Ability to facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
3. Sound understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, quality assurance, integration, testing, and deployment.
4. Ability to work effectively with product managers, business analysts, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and solution architects.
5. Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent project delivery and collaboration tools.

Consulting & Stakeholder Management:

1. Strong consulting mindset, with demonstrated ability to understand client challenges, manage expectations, and translate business objectives into executable project plans.
2. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
3. Proven ability to engage confidently with senior management, executive stakeholders, clients, and technical delivery teams.
4. Ability to lead client meetings, project governance sessions, steering committee reviews, and executive presentations.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex project information clearly and persuasively.

Governance, Reporting & Performance:

1. Strong experience developing project charters, delivery plans, RAID logs, status reports, governance documentation, and executive dashboards.
2. Ability to establish meaningful project KPIs, track delivery performance, and provide accurate, actionable management reports.
3. Experience managing scope changes, resource constraints, delivery risks, and stakeholder escalations.
4. Strong understanding of quality assurance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness, and project closure requirements.
5. Ability to maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensure delivery transparency, and drive continuous process improvement.

Business & Industry Knowledge:

1. Good understanding of financial technology, digital banking solutions, and Open Banking principles.
2. Familiarity with API-driven solutions, systems integration, financial data sharing, information security, and data privacy considerations.
3. Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to align project delivery with business value and strategic objectives.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience managing Open Banking platforms, financial data aggregation solutions, API integration projects, or banking technology implementations.
2. Familiarity with Open Banking regulatory frameworks, consent management, financial data security, and compliance requirements.
3. Experience delivering credit assessment, digital lending, payment solutions, financial analytics, or other financial technology products.
4. Previous experience working within a reputable management consulting, technology consulting, or digital transformation organization.
5. Experience managing B2B, SaaS, enterprise technology, or cloud-based implementation projects.
6. Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), automation, or advanced data-driven solutions.
7. Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, system architecture, and technical integration processes.
8. Experience coordinating third-party vendors, technology partners, and external financial institutions.
9. Experience supporting product launches, client onboarding, operational readiness, and post-implementation optimization.
10. Familiarity with project portfolio management, PMO governance, and organizational change management.
11. Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, or other data visualization and performance reporting tools.
12. Additional Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMP certifications.
