Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, moving and stacking warehouse materials.
- Handle marble, granite, tiles, slabs and other heavy materials with care.
- Transport materials within the warehouse and designated storage areas.
- Ensure materials are properly positioned and secured to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the forklift operating and storage areas.
- Handle company equipment, materials and property responsibly.
Requirements
- Previous professional experience as a Forklift Operator is required.
- Proven ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
- Experience handling marble, granite, tiles, slabs, construction materials or similar products is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Valid forklift licence/certification, where applicable, is an advantage.
