About the Role
Infratel Africa is seeking a Corps Member currently undergoing the NYSC programme to join our team as a Supply Chain Associate.
The successful candidate will support the Supply Chain and Operations functions, including procurement coordination, inventory management, documentation, vendor communication, and general supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with procurement and sourcing activities.
- Support the preparation and processing of purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchases, inventory, and deliveries.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to follow up on quotations, orders, and deliveries.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Support the receiving, inspection, and documentation of goods and materials.
- Maintain an organised database of suppliers and procurement records.
- Assist with price comparisons and supplier evaluations.
- Track orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries.
- Prepare periodic procurement and inventory reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of supply chain transactions.
- Support the team in identifying opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and cost management.
- Perform other supply chain and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment PPA.
- Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with figures and records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
