  • Provide reservoir engineering support for the OML 30 gas commercialisation project.
  • Provide hands-on technical input into the Osioka unitised development.
  • Support the Olomoro infield water-disposal projects and ongoing drilling activities.
  • Develop and maintain reservoir and well-surveillance databases.
  • Support the identification and recommendation of well-intervention candidates.
  • Support reserves audits across OML 30 reservoirs and fields.
  • Provide reservoir engineering input during the planning and execution of infill-well drilling.
  • Plan, evaluate and support the execution of field-development and well-drilling programmes.
  • Integrate subsurface, production and operational data to develop robust well and reservoir models.
  • Identify key reservoir uncertainties and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation measures.
  • Improve reservoir descriptions through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well-test interpretation and production-performance analysis.
  • Conduct production forecasts and reserves assessments to support development, depletion planning and production optimisation.
  • Build new dynamic reservoir simulation models and update existing models during Field Development Plan revisions.
  • Evaluate and optimise existing development plans and identify new opportunities.
  • Assess the production potential, costs and economic value of oil and gas wells and development opportunities.
  • Recommend well placement and supplementary recovery processes to improve production.
  • Support ongoing enhanced oil recovery studies for selected OML 30 reservoirs.
  • Estimate proved, probable and possible reserves using relevant tools and recognised standards.
  • Conduct economic evaluations of oil and gas projects within the asset.

  • A Master of Engineering degree will be an advantage.
  • Relevant professional registration or membership, such as COREN, NSE, P.Eng. or SPE.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant oil and gas industry experience.
  • Strong experience in reservoir engineering, field development and reservoir management.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct decline-curve analysis, material-balance evaluation and reserves estimation.
  • Experience building and updating dynamic reservoir simulation models.
  • Ability to perform static and volumetric reservoir assessments.
  • Experience with PVT analysis, core evaluation, well-test interpretation and production-performance analysis.
