Key Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and servicing of company vehicles.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, safe, and available for operations.
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and external maintenance vendors.
- Monitor repair costs, spare parts usage, and maintenance budgets.
- Diagnose recurring vehicle faults and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, servicing, and maintenance history.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports on fleet condition, maintenance activities, and downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in fleet maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Experience managing mechanics/technicians and external vendors.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Must be willing to work in Ikeja, Lagos
