About the Role
- We are seeking an energetic Offline Events & Field Marketing Specialist to plan and execute on-ground marketing activities across Nigeria. You will be the face of our brand at events, activations, and community engagements — driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer loyalty through memorable offline experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute offline marketing events including product launches, roadshows, campus activations, trade shows, community outreach, and promotional campaigns in Lagos and other key Nigerian cities
- Identify high-traffic venues and strategic locations malls, campuses, markets, motor parks, corporate hubs for brand activations and guerrilla marketing
- Manage end-to-end event logistics: venue booking, permits and local approvals, vendor negotiation, staffing, equipment, transport, and on-site setup
- Recruit, train, and supervise brand ambassadors and event staff; ensure professional on-ground representation of the brand
- Design and distribute offline marketing materials flyers, banners, branded merchandise, POS materials
- Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, venue owners, community leaders, schools, and local partners across Nigeria
- Capture leads on-site and ensure smooth handover to the sales/CRM team for follow-up and conversion tracking
- Track event budgets, measure ROI foot traffic, leads collected, conversions, brand recall, and deliver post-event reports with actionable insights
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and brand safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or promotions, ideally within Nigeria
- Strong existing network of vendors, venues, and field staff in Lagos and ideally Abuja, Port Harcourt, or Ibadan
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with diverse communities and stakeholders
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with lead capture tools is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Nigerian Pidgin or a major local language is strongly preferred
