MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales and achieve assigned targets and performance KPIs across assigned distributors, stores, and sales channels.
- Grow product availability and distribution by ensuring the right products are available in the right stores and identifying opportunities to add new stores.
- Manage and support assigned distributors and their sales teams to improve sales performance and execution.
- Ensure excellent in-store execution, including product availability, shelf visibility, merchandising, promotions, and point-of sale materials.
- Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time and promptly address distributor and consumer complaints.
- Support the successful launch and distribution of new products and promotions across relevant stores and channels.
- Regularly visit stores within the assigned territory to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and improve coverage.
- Train, coach, and support distributor sales representatives to improve their sales capabilities and in-store execution.
- Use sales data and performance reports to identify gaps and opportunities and take action to improve results.
- Monitor competitor activity in the market, including new products, prices, promotions, distribution, strategies, and channel activities, and report relevant insights.
- Support effective distributor operations, including stock checks, system reconciliation, customer service, controls, and performance reviews.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners across the route-to-market network.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar or related role.
- Strong sales and distributor management skills.
- Good understanding of sales channels and route-to-market operations.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to understand sales data, identify trends, and use insights to make decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-focused mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and sales teams.
- Good understanding of commercial performance and profitability.
- Comfortable using digital tools and data to support sales execution.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to consistently deliver against targets and KPIs
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- A valid driver's licence is an advantage.
