Overview

  • The role's purpose is to administer the company’s Microsoft 365 environment, protect confidential digital assets, maintain IT equipment and software controls, support users, and strengthen data integrity and reporting across business systems, including PEMS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services, including user accounts, licences, groups, permissions and access controls
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune and related Microsoft services.
  • Implement and monitor multi-factor authentication, conditional access, device compliance and other approved security controls.
  • Manage secure user onboarding, role changes and offboarding, including prompt access provisioning and revocation.
  • Conduct periodic privileged-access and licence-utilisation reviews and maintain auditable administration records
  • Maintain a complete register of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, software licences and other IT assets.
  • Coordinate procurement, configuration, assignment, movement, recovery, maintenance and retirement of IT equipment
  • Install and support approved operating systems, business applications, security tools and software updates.
  • Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, email, connectivity, printing and user-access issues.
  • Coordinate OEMs, vendors and specialist service providers while protecting company information and access credentials.
  • Protect confidential company information, digital records, credentials and technology assets from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
  • Monitor endpoint protection, patch status, device compliance, backups and security alerts; escalate incidents promptly
  • Support cybersecurity awareness, access-control reviews, recovery testing and compliance with approved IT policies.
  • Maintain secure documentation for administrator accounts, configurations, licences, warranties and recovery procedures.
  • Support the administration and effective use of PEMS and other approved business applications.
  • Perform scheduled data-quality checks for completeness, consistency, duplication, accuracy and authorised changes.
  • Identify reporting gaps and process weaknesses, document findings and coordinate corrective actions with system owners.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Lists or other approved tools.
  • Support workflow automation, digital transformation and system-integration initiatives across the organisation.
  • Support IT teams and designated technology contacts across all business locations.
  • Maintain IT procedures, registers, incident logs, service records and audit evidence.
  • Monitor software-licence compliance, renewal requirements and authorised application use

  • Perform other IT-related responsibilities assigned by executive management

Required Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or a current role-based Microsoft 365 administration certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or Security Operations Analyst Associate.
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+; Cisco CCNA; ITIL Foundation; or another recognised IT service, cloud, networking or cybersecurity certification
