Head, Field Marketing & Merchant Acquisition

• Neptune Microfinance Bank is seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Head of Field Marketing & Merchant Acquisition to lead the expansion of our merchant acquisition and field sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchant acquisition and field marketing strategies.
• Recruit, train and supervise field marketing officers and supervisors.
• Drive POS deployment, merchant activation, business account acquisition and transaction growth.
• Establish performance targets and monitor field sales productivity.
• Develop merchant acquisition campaigns across supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, hotels, petrol stations and other retail sectors.
• Build scalable field sales structures across Lagos and other Nigerian markets.
• Implement CRM-based field reporting, performance measurement and merchant retention initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant sales and business development experience.
• Proven leadership experience in fintech, banking, payment services or merchant acquisition.
• Demonstrable success managing large field sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of Nigeria's POS and merchant payment ecosystem.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and commercial execution skills.
