Job Responsibilities

1. Work on generator control panels, AMF/ATS panels, synchronization systems, protection systems, and distribution panels.
2. Carry out electrical wiring, termination, cabling, and connection of generating equipment.
3. Interpret and work with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
4. Configure and troubleshoot generator controllers, protection relays, meters, sensors, and monitoring systems.
5. Ensure proper integration of generators with electrical distribution systems.
6. Conduct pre-commissioning checks and electrical tests on generating sets and related equipment.
7. Perform load-bank testing and functional testing of generators.
8. Verify voltage, current, frequency, phase sequence, insulation resistance, earthing, and other electrical parameters.
9. Identify and rectify electrical faults before equipment is delivered or commissioned.
10. Participate in site installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of generating systems.
11. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in generators, control panels, switchgear, and distribution systems.
12. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
13. Investigate recurring electrical failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
14. Support maintenance teams during major repairs and equipment overhauls.
15. Ensure electrical components and systems are maintained in good working condition.

Job Qualification

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 – 2 years experience.
