Job Position: Junior Accountant 

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance function of our yoghurt production factory in Egbeda, assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

1. Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts
2. Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
3. Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts
4. Support in tracking raw material costs, inventory, and production expenses
5. Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
6. Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for management
7. Assist with statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, VAT) and tax filings
8. Maintain proper filing of financial documents and support audit processes

Job Qualifications

• OND / HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years’ relevant accounting experience (manufacturing/FMCG a plus)
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Excel)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Egbeda or its environs

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 monthly.
