Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Key Account Officer to manage and grow relationships with the company’s major and strategic B2B customers.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue from existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities within key clients, and ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key/high-value corporate accounts.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop account plans and strategies to increase customer value and retention.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and other commercial agreements.
- Understand client needs and provide appropriate products/services or solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial reports.
- Monitor account performance, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Track market and competitor activities and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM or other reporting tools.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven B2B sales/key account management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, strategic, or high-value corporate accounts.
- Proven track record of revenue growth, account retention, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong experience in client relationship management and commercial negotiations.
- Ability to identify and convert upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools
