Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented, numerically strong and reliable individual to join the team as an Accounting & Finance Officer.

Job Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions.
2. Prepare invoices, receipts and payment records.
3. Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
4. Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
5. Reconcile bank statements with company records.
6. Track expenses and maintain proper financial documentation.
7. Support payroll processing when required.
8. Prepare basic financial reports and financial summaries.
9. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
10. Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
11. Work with outsourced accounting consultants as required.

Job Qualifications

1. Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
2. Strong numerical and analytical ability.
3. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
5. Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
6. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to accounting processes.
7. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
8. Previous accounting / finance experience is an advantage but not compulsory for the right candidate.

1. This role is not strictly for Accounting graduates.
2. We welcome candidates who studied:
   • Mathematics
   • Statistics
   • Economics
   • Finance
   • Business Administration
   • Accounting
   • Or other related numerical / analytical disciplines.
3. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in finance, be comfortable working with numbers and financial records, and be willing to learn and develop practical accounting skills.
4. The successful candidate will work alongside the company’s outsourced accounting consultants, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on accounting and finance experience.

Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 / month.
