The company is at its startup stage in the UK as it evolves in development of SaaSand AI-powered solutions for SMEs, as well as supporting starups from early stage to established businesses through its consulting and development services.

Job Summary

1. We are seeking a creative Freelance Video Editor and Animator to support the launch and promotion of our SaaS products.
2. You will turn product demonstrations, screen recordings, scripts and creative concepts into engaging videos that help founders and small business owners understand our productvalue.
3. The role combines video editing, motion graphics and animation for social media, marketing campaigns and product education.
4. We are looking for someone who can make business and technology content clear, visually compelling and easy to understand.

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce launch videos, promotional adverts, product explainers, tutorials and short social media videos.
2. Edit footage, screen recordings, voiceovers and supplied assets into polished content.
3. Create motion graphics, animated text, transitions and visual effects that support the story.
4. Animate product interfaces and workflows to communicate features and benefits clearly.
5. Adapt videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
6. Add captions, sound effects and appropriately licensed background music.
7. Maintain consistent branding, sharp visuals, clear audio and accurate on-screen text.
8. Collaborate with the founding team on concepts, storyboards and creative improvements.
9. Manage agreed deadlines, incorporate feedback and deliver final exports and editable source files.

Skills:

1. Strong video editing skills, including a sound ability in leveraging effective AI tools.
2. Proficiency in motion graphics and animation using After Effects or equivalent software.
3. Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, typography, composition and sound design.
4. Ability to create engaging opening hooks and explain complex ideas simply.
5. Familiarity with platform-specific video formats, aspect ratios and caption placement.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
7. Clear communication, reliable time management and ability to work independently.

Desirable:

• 3D animation skills using Blender, Cinema 4D or similar; experience with SaaS marketing, UI animation and AI-assisted creative tools.

Job Qualifications

1. A hands on experience in film production, animation, multimedia, graphic design or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
2. Applicants with strong portfolios and relevant practical experience are welcome, regardless of formal qualifications.

Experience:

1. Demonstrable experience in video editing and animation, supported by a portfolio.
2. Experience producing promotional videos, explainers or social media content.
3. Previous work with startups, technology products or business audiences is an advantage.
4. Ability to take a brief through to a finished video, including revisions and delivery.

Other Requirements:

1. Access to a suitable computer, reliable internet connection and the software required for the work.
2. Availability for remote collaboration and occasional meetings aligned with UK working hours.
3. Ability to meet agreed launch and campaign deadlines.
4. Responsible use of licensed footage, music, fonts and other creative assets.
5. Willingness to maintain confidentiality around unreleased product information and company materials.
6. Delivery of organised project files and editable assets as agreed.
7. Disclosure and approval of any AI tools that require uploading confidential company assets.

Benefits

1. Paid freelance engagement. Fees will be agreed based on experience, deliverables, complexity and turnaround time.
2. Applicants should provide their project rates and indicate what these include, such as revisions and source-file delivery. An ongoing monthly arrangement may be considered following successful initial projects.
