- Teach the principles of solar energy, photovoltaic technology and renewable energy systems.
- Explain the operation and application of solar panels, charge controllers, inverters, batteries and associated electrical components.
- Deliver lessons on solar PV system design, sizing, installation, configuration and commissioning.
- Teach basic electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, power, energy and electrical circuit connections.
- Demonstrate series and parallel connections of solar panels and batteries, explaining their applications and limitations.
- Train students in estimating energy consumption, calculating system capacity and selecting appropriate components.
- Teach preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and replacement of faulty system components.
