KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily civil, mechanical and electrical construction activities.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor mobilisation, manpower and productivity.
- Supervise 33kV, 11kV and LV overhead line construction.
- Support substation, underground cabling and metering infrastructure works.
- Monitor equipment, pole and other civil foundations.
- Review daily work progress and identify delays, risks and non-conformances.
- Coordinate with contractors, Owner’s Engineers and grid operators.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
- Maintain construction drawings, test reports and other site documentation.
- Monitor health, safety and workmanship standards on site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience in power distribution or infrastructure construction.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, designs, calculations and standards.
- Experience with 33kV/11kV networks, LV OH lines, substations and UG cabling is highly desirable.
- GIS and AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills..
- Must be based in the location or willing to relocate.
- Willingness to work full-time on site and travel when required.
