Senior Architect

Summary

• We are seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented Senior Architect to join our client’s architectural firm.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept development through construction, coordinating project teams, and ensuring that designs meet client requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• The desired candidate must have strong experience in architectural design, project management, construction documentation, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from concept development through completion.
• Develop innovative and functional architectural designs based on client requirements.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Supervise and guide junior architects and other members of the design team.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Review construction drawings and ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant building codes, planning regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage project timelines and contribute to effective project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, design reviews, and project discussions.
• Identify and resolve design and construction-related issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on current architectural trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Prepare project reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of BSc/BA in Architecture; MArch is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Professional registration with ARCON is an added advantage.
• Proven experience managing architectural projects and leading design teams.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building regulations, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization software, and other relevant design tools.
• Excellent design, technical drawing, and project management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and develop architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be creative, organized, proactive, and team-oriented.
