Job Summary

1. Our client is seeking a ‘Sales Representative’ who is confident, customer-focused and passionate about sales and scents.
2. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the shop.

Job Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly and professionally to customers and prospects on social media platforms, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
2. Convert online prospects into paying customers.
3. Follow up with prospective customers and existing customers to generate repeat sales.
4. Understand customer preferences and recommend appropriate products based on their needs, budget and occasion.
5. Post and promote approved content on products, new arrivals, special offers and other sales opportunities.
6. Receive and properly process customer orders.
7. Organise orders placed for dispatch, ensuring that products, quantities and customer details are accurate before dispatch.
8. Coordinate with delivery personnel/couriers to ensure orders reach customers promptly.
9. Ensure that customer enquiries, complaints and feedback are properly handled and escalated when necessary.
10. Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, customer information and follow-ups.
11. Build positive relationships with customers and encourage referrals and repeat purchases.
12. Keep up-to-date with the products, fragrance profiles and other offerings available in the shop.
13. Support promotional activities, social-media campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

Job Qualifications

1. Minimum of BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Mass Communication, or a related field.
2. Candidates with relevant sales experience and strong customer-service skills have an advantage
3. Post NYSC 1–2 years’ experience in sales, retail, beauty, cosmetics, perfume/fragrance or a related customer-facing role is an advantage.
4. Experience managing customer enquiries through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or other social-media platforms is an added advantage.
5. Must be resident around Kumantaka, Jaba in Kano, please do not apply if you don’t
6. Must be willing to work physically from the shop and participate in daily shop operations.

Skills Set

1. Strong sales and customer service skills.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Confidence in interacting with customers both physically and online.
4. Ability to sell and convert enquiries into purchases.
5. Good knowledge or genuine interest in perfumes, fragrances, body sprays, perfume oils and related products.
6. Strong Business WhatsApp and social-media communication skills.
7. Attention to detail, particularly when processing and preparing customer orders.
8. Basic computer and digital skills.
9. Knowledge of the Kano market and/or experience selling to customers in Kano will be an advantage.

Salary
N100,000 monthly.
