  • As a Regulatory Affairs Assistant, you will support the registration and compliance of products by preparing and submitting regulatory documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring product information, labels, and claims meet regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities to secure approvals and deliver regulatory activities on time.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, review, and maintain documentation required for product registrations, renewals, and variations.
  • Submit accurate regulatory applications and maintain records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Review product information, labels, artwork, and claims to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track registrations, renewals, approvals, queries, and expiry dates to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory databases, trackers, and document archives.
  • Support innovation and renovation projects by providing regulatory guidance and identifying compliance risks.
  • Coordinate the collection of certificates, samples, forms, and other required documentation from stakeholders.
  • Support responses to regulatory queries, inspections, and compliance actions.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and share relevant insights that may impact the business. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure regulatory commitments are delivered on time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related Life Science discipline. 
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, or a related technical function.
  • Understanding of product registration, labelling, claims, and regulatory compliance requirements. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record management.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and work with regulatory systems and processes.
