QA / QC Engineer – Civil & Structural

Core Responsibilities

• Quality Management: Implement the Project Quality Management Plan PQMP, Inspection & Test Plans ITPs, and Method Statements.
• Site Inspections: Conduct routine quality walks, sign off on Concrete Pour Permits, inspect rebar detailing, formwork, waterproofing, and structural elements before execution.
• Material Assurance: Inspect incoming site materials, verify supplier test certificates, and oversee field/laboratory testing concrete cubes, slump, rebar tensile, soil compaction.
• Non-Conformance & Rework: Issue Non-Conformance Reports NCRs, determine root causes, enforce corrective/preventive actions CAPA, and verify closure.
• Audits & Handover: Maintain audit-ready QA/QC logs, conduct pre-handover snagging/punch-listing, and witness Non-Destructive Testing NDT and water-tightness tests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years in QA/QC roles within heavy building construction, high-rise developments, or major civil projects.
• Certifications Preferred: ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor, CSWIP, NACE, or OSHA/NEBOSH.
• Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of ACI, ASTM, BS Eurocodes, concrete technology, waterproofing systems, and reading structural/MEP shop drawings.
• Tools: Proficiency in BIM 360, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or MS Office.
