Project Monitoring – Internship (NYSC)

Job Summary:

• The Black Pelican Group is seeking a motivated NYSC Corps Member with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering to join our project team. The successful candidate will assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction and interior fit-out projects, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering premium lifestyle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project planning, coordination, and execution under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist in preparing structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and provide progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Currently serving as an NYSC corps member deployed to Lagos.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc..
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.
