Marketing Teacher

Role Description

• The Marketing Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at LEAD BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Ibadan. This role involves planning and delivering engaging Marketing lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for secondary-level students, using a variety of teaching methods and resources. The Marketing Teacher will prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments, and will evaluate students’ progress while providing constructive feedback and academic support. Daily responsibilities include maintaining classroom discipline, integrating real-world business and marketing examples into teaching, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The role also includes collaborating with colleagues, participating in staff meetings and school events, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the school’s vision of nurturing self-reliant, future-ready learners.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and classroom management skills, with experience delivering Marketing or related business subjects.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and the ability to engage diverse learners.
• Candidates should possess practical Marketing and Sales skills that support real-world examples and case studies in lesson delivery.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Online Marketing tools and concepts to introduce learners to contemporary digital marketing practices.
• Candidates should have a relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field, and teaching certification or professional training is an advantage.
• Candidates should demonstrate lesson planning and assessment skills, familiarity with curriculum standards, and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Candidates should show a commitment to student-centered learning, professional ethics, and continuous professional development.
• Previous experience teaching in an international or blended curriculum environment
