JOB DUTIES
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing
- Review system and network logs for suspicious activities
- Implement and maintain security controls and best practices
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of networking TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management
- Basic scripting Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage
