Job Description
- Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds with fresh linen.
- Restock towels, toiletries, and other room amenities.
- Clean corridors, stairwells, lifts and other public areas as assigned.
- Collect, sort and deliver soiled linen and laundry as directed.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, spills or safety hazards to the supervisor and maintenace department promptly.
- Hand in lost-and-found items and report them correctly.
- Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
- Follow hotel safety, hygiene and confidentiality policies, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Keep trolleys and equipment clean and organised.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / HND / OND / Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 4 PROVEN years work experience.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work with little supervision.
- Honesty, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physical fitness: the role involves standing, bending, lifting and pushing trolleys for long periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays asneeded.
- Good communication skills and a courteous, guest-friendly attitude.
