Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head of Finance & Accounts to lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
2. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accounting requirements.
3. Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the finance team.
4. Drive process improvement and operational efficiency within the finance function.
5. Provide financial analysis and support effective management decision-making.
6. Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role.
• Experience in the Trading industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
• Understanding of local GAAP requirements.
• Strong team management and process improvement capabilities.

Salary
N600,000 / Month (Net)
