Grill Supervisor

Description

• Responsible for supervising daily grill operations, ensuring proper food preparation, quality, hygiene, stock control, and effective coordination of grill staff to meet outlet standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily grill operations.
• Prepare and grill meat, chicken, fish, suya, and other grill products as required.
• Ensure food is prepared according to Bukka Hut standards and recipes.
• Monitor portion sizes, taste, presentation, and product quality.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of food items.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is required.
• Maintain proper records of stock used and products produced.
• Ensure the grill area, equipment, and workstations are clean and hygienic.
• Supervise and train grillers and other kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Minimize food wastage and report any damaged or spoiled items.
• Prepare daily production and operational reports.
• Ensure equipment is properly used and report faults promptly.

Education

• HND/B.Sc Degree in Catering, Hospitality Management, Food Science, or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant culinary training or certification is also acceptable.

Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience in grilling, kitchen operations, or food production.
• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is an advantage.

Skills:

• Good grilling and food preparation skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to manage stock and reduce wastage.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer/record-keeping skills.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
• Must be reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Must reside within Lekki

Remuneration

• Competitive salary N120,000 - N150,000 monthly based on experience and company structure.
• Other benefits may apply in line with company policy.
