About the Role
- We are seeking a motivated, disciplined, and career-driven graduate to join our Production Team as a Graduate Trainee – Production Supervisor.
- The successful candidate will undergo practical training and gain hands-on experience in production operations, workforce supervision, production planning, quality control, safety compliance, machine operations, production reporting, and process improvement within a fast-paced plastic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily production activities and production personnel.
- Support the effective deployment and coordination of production workers.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established standards and targets.
- Assist in ensuring production targets, quality requirements, and operational deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor workers' attendance, punctuality, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
- Support the identification and reporting of production abnormalities, machine downtime, material wastage, and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Assist with production records, reports, shift handovers, and other operational documentation.
- Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, downtime, and production losses.
- Carry out other production-related duties assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Industrial Production, Manufacturing, Sciences, or a related discipline.
- NYSC must be completed; candidates awaiting NYSC completion will not be considered.
- 0–2 years of work experience, preferably with some exposure to supervisory, production, manufacturing, or factory operations.
- Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing company as a Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Factory Helper, Production Trainee, or similar role will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of basic production and manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership and team-coordination skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare simple reports.
- Must be physically and mentally prepared to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to and work in Onitsha, Anambra State.
