Job Summary

1. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Trainee to join our team in Victoria Island.
2. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent pharmacy graduate to gain hands-on practical experience in a fast-paced retail and clinical pharmacy environment under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
2. Provide excellent customer service by advising patients on proper drug usage, dosage, and side effects
3. Receive, sort, and organize pharmaceutical products in the inventory/store
4. Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates, and maintaining inventory records
5. Maintain accurate dispensing and sales records in the pharmacy software
6. Ensure the pharmacy is clean, well-organized, and compliant with NAFDAC and regulatory standards
7. Support with compounding, reconstitution, and packaging of medications when required
8. Handle customer enquiries, referrals, and escalations to the pharmacist professionally
9. Participate in all training programs and rotations assigned by the supervising pharmacist

Job Qualifications

• B.Pharm, PharmD, or OND in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Must have completed NYSC (if applicable) – awaiting posting or recently completed is welcome
• 0-1 year experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Good knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, and basic pharmaceutical care
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and honesty
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused, willing to learn, and able to work under supervision
• Must be computer literate

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
