Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Geophysicist III to support and enhance 2D/3D seismic and wellbore seismic acquisition programmes.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with operating teams, technical specialists, and vendors to deliver safe and effective seismic survey solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply post-stack and pre-stack seismic inversion and Amplitude Versus Offset AVO techniques.
- Perform seismic attribute analysis to interpret structural features, depositional environments, and facies.
- Apply advanced geophysical knowledge to carbonate reservoirs and unconventional plays.
- Support seismic acquisition, processing, and geological interpretation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Geotechnical or Geophysical disciplines.
- Relevant experience in geophysics or a closely related role.
- Strong geological and geophysical interpretation skills.
- Advanced petrophysical analysis skills in siliciclastic settings.
- Proficiency in Petrel and relevant geoscience computing applications.
- Experience interpreting gravity and magnetic data.
- Strong knowledge of structural geology, petroleum geology, seismic processing, and seismic acquisition operations.
- Excellent teamwork, mentoring, and coaching skills.
