Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable Generator Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain industrial generators, ensuring a steady power supply for factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial generators.
- Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
- Monitor fuel, oil levels, temperature, and generator performance.
- Identify faults and report technical problems promptly.
- Maintain generator operating and maintenance records.
- Ensure safe operation and cleanliness of generator rooms.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- 1–3 year of experience operating industrial generators.
- Knowledge of generator operation, servicing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Basic electrical knowledge or an electrical background is strongly preferred.
- Ability to monitor generator performance and identify faults.
- Good safety awareness and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work shifts when required.
Added Advantage:
- OND, Trade Test, or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience operating industrial diesel generators in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of generator control panels, batteries, and changeover systems.
