General Manager

Job Summary

• As the General Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the company’s automobile, real estate, and hospitality businesses, ensuring profitability, effective resource management, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth across all locations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies, growth plans, and operational policies that align with the company’s objectives across the automobile, real estate, and hospitality divisions.
• Business Operations Management: Oversee daily operations across all business units and branches, ensuring efficient service delivery, operational consistency, quality standards, and effective coordination between Port Harcourt and Lagos locations.
• Financial Performance and Profitability: Oversee budgets, revenue generation, expenditure, cash flow, and financial performance across business units, ensuring profitability and effective cost management.
• Departmental Leadership and Performance Management: Lead and supervise departmental heads, establish performance targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure accountability and achievement of business objectives across all divisions.
•  Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, strengthen market positioning, and drive sales growth across luxury automobile sales and servicing, real estate, and hospitality.
• Operational Risk and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, health and safety requirements, and applicable operational standards while identifying and addressing business risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
• 15 – 20 years of cognate experience in general management, business operations, or strategic leadership, preferably overseeing multiple business units.
• Proven experience managing business operations in the luxury automobile sector, particularly vehicle sales, servicing, and customer relationship management.
• Strong expertise in business strategy, financial management, budgeting, operational performance, and business development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead senior managers, oversee multiple locations, manage cross-functional teams, and drive organizational performance.
