Job Position: Financial Reporting Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Role

1. Coronation Merchant Bank is looking for a Financial Reporting Officer to join its Financial Reporting team in Lagos.
2. You will help produce accurate, timely financial statements and regulatory returns in line with IFRS and CBN requirements.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
2. Prepare and submit regulatory returns to the CBN and other regulators.
3. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
4. Support month-end and year-end close and internal and external audits.
5. Ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
6. Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for all reports.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ICAN, ACCA or an equivalent qualification (part-qualified candidates will be considered).
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in financial reporting, banking or audit.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Finacle or a similar core banking system (an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
