Field Sales Officer (Mobile Phones)

Job Summary

• As a Field Sales Officer, you will drive mobile phone sales within the assigned territory, acquire new customers, build strong business relationships, and achieve monthly sales targets through direct sales and agent/merchant networks.

Responsibilities

• Drive the sales of company mobile phone products within the assigned territory and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, direct marketing, referrals, and other sales channels.
• Recruit and manage sales agents, build relationships with merchants, and support merchant onboarding to expand the company's sales network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, following up on leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Monitor market activities, provide feedback on customer needs and competitor trends, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales, preferably in mobile phones, consumer electronics, retail, fintech, or related industries.
• Experience in agent management, agent recruitment, merchant onboarding, or other agent- and merchant-facing roles is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets, build business relationships, and expand customer or merchant networks.
• Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills. Knowledge of the Buy Now, Pay Later BNPL sales model is an added advantage.
