Job Summary
- The Director, Directorate of University Multimedia Centre, is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the coordination of multimedia services in the University.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day multimedia services of the University;
- Oversee the entire multimedia content lifecycle, from conceptualisation and design to final production; and
- Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.
Qualifications / Requirements
- A good Honors Degree from a recognized institution;
- A relevant Higher Degree;
- Minimum of fifteen 15 years' relevant post-qualification experience;
- Must have served for a minimum of three 3 years as a Deputy Director of University Multimedia Centre in a University or comparable institution;
- Proficiency in computer skills in linear and non-linear editing of real-time recorded materials;
- Proficiency in the use of AI tools, multimedia services, editing software and online streaming services; and
- Membership of relevant professional bodies.
Age Requirement:
- Candidates must not be above the age of sixty 60 years as at November 2026.
Tenure:
- The Director, Directorate of University Multimedia Centre shall hold office for a Single Term of five 5 years only on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.
Remuneration
- The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Director in Nigerian universities and as may be determined from time to time by the Governing Council, as appropriate.
