Mineral Gallery is a specialist retail and digital platform for crystals, gemstones, natural mineral specimens and jewellery, presented by the Nigerian Mineral Exchange (NME).

We are building a modern Nigerian mineral retail brand that combines a physical gallery with digital commerce, social media, educational content, and direct customer engagement.

Job Description

We are seeking a creative, energetic and commercially minded Digital Sales & Content Executive to support the growth of Mineral Gallery's physical and online operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging digital content, showcasing products, managing social media interactions, engaging customers, generating sales and supporting the development of Mineral Gallery as a recognized Nigerian crystal and mineral retail brand.

This position combines digital content creation, social media marketing, customer engagement and retail sales.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content Creation & Social Media

• Create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Photograph crystals, gemstones, jewellery and mineral specimens.
• Develop product demonstrations, educational videos and promotional content.
• Participate in and host livestreaming sessions.
• Generate creative ideas for regular social media content.
• Assist with basic graphics and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools.
• Support the growth and management of Mineral Gallery's digital presence.

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Attend to customers visiting the physical gallery.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries through WhatsApp and social media.
• Present products and communicate their features and value.
• Follow up prospective customers and convert enquiries into sales.
• Build relationships with crystal enthusiasts, collectors, gemstone buyers and other customers.
• Maintain basic customer, enquiry and sales records.
• Assist with order processing, packaging and fulfilment.
• Encourage repeat purchases and identify potential high-value customers.

Product Knowledge & Development

• Learn about the crystals, gemstones and mineral specimens stocked by Mineral Gallery.
• Participate in internal product training.
• Develop the ability to confidently explain products to customers.
• Gather customer feedback and contribute ideas for improving sales and customer engagement.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
• Ability to create basic video content using a smartphone.
• Confidence and willingness to appear on camera.
• Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Good customer service skills and an interest in sales.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Reliability, discipline and willingness to learn.

Experience or proficiency in any of the following will be an advantage:

• TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts content creation.
• CapCut or similar video-editing applications.
• Canva or basic graphic design.
• Livestreaming and product presentations.

• Crystals, gemstones, jewellery or minerals.

Previous knowledge of crystals, gemstones, and minerals is not compulsory. Product training will be provided. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong communication skills, digital creativity, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn.

• The ideal candidate should be comfortable creating content, engaging customers, learning about new products and taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
