Job Summary

  • A Pan-African maritime and offshore services company, is seeking a Country Manager to lead its Nigeria operations.
  • As the most senior employee in Nigeria, you will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.
  • Working closely with the Group CEO and functional leaders, you will scale Company’s presence in Nigeria while contributing to the Group’s Pan-African growth agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion in Nigeria.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and secure renewals, extensions, and new contract opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and service lines.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable execution of all operations and contracts.
  • Deliver fleet and operational performance in line with uptime, budget, and service commitments.
  • Maintain strict compliance with Group QHSE standards and drive continuous operational improvement.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local workforce and leadership pipeline.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian regulatory, legal, local-content, and industry requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, regulators, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide transparent reporting, risk management, and governance oversight in line with Group expectations.

Requirements
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 18+ years of leadership experience in maritime, offshore, oil & gas, logistics, or related industries.
  • Proven track record leading a country operation, business unit, or large-scale operational function.
  • Demonstrated success driving P&L performance, commercial growth, and strategic client relationships within regulated environments.

Preferred:

  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of marine, offshore, operational, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead people, manage risk, and drive high-performance cultures.
