Business Developer

GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.

In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyze current and past financial data and provide strategies to increase revenue.
2. Research the market to identify new business opportunities, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports.
3. Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
4. Develop business development, marketing plans and growth strategy in collaboration with Management to achieve set revenue goals.
5. Build referral and lead generation network, arrange business meetings with prospective clients to increase income generation.
6. Generate business by promoting and selling the bank’s financial products, such as deposits and various loan facilities.
7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, keep records of sales, and revenue.

Job Qualifications 

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Management or any other related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of Business Development/ Sales experience with a focus on microfinance sector.
3. Proven experience in Microfinance products sales is highly preferred.
4. Strong client relationship management skills
5. Excellent negotiation skills
6. Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization
7. Market research, strategy and business reporting
8. Proven ability to work independently
9. Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
