Job Summary

• The Business Development & Tendering Executive will drive new business opportunities across the oil & gas, construction, marine/dredging, and equipment leasing sectors, focusing on client acquisition, tender opportunities, strategic relationships, contract development, and revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue new contracts, tenders, and business opportunities.
2. Manage the business development pipeline from prospecting to contract award.
3. Build relationships with IOCs, EPC contractors, government agencies, construction firms, and maritime operators.
4. Prepare and submit tenders, proposals, prequalification documents, RFQs/RFPs, and commercial documents.
5. Conduct market research and identify upcoming projects, trends, and opportunities.
6. Develop and maintain client relationships to drive new and repeat business.
7. Collaborate with technical and Operations teams on commercially viable proposals.
8. Support negotiations and contract discussions with Management.
9. Support market expansion initiatives, including Lagos market entry.
10. Maintain accurate pipeline, tender, client, and contract records.
11. Prepare business development reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
12. Represent the Group at industry events, client meetings, and networking platforms.
13. Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Management, or related fields
• 3–5 years’ relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management, or Tendering.
• Proven experience in oil & gas, construction, marine/dredging, engineering, equipment leasing, or related industries.
• Experience in tendering, prequalification, proposal development, and contract acquisition.
• Strong industry network and client relationships will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, networking, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/business development tools.
• Must be resident in or willing to work in Port Harcourt.

Salary
N700,000 Monthly.
