Requirements & Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service and business development skills.
- Oversee the branch’s daily operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead the branch team to achieve targets for customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation, quality loan growth and revenue.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, traders and SME customers.
- Supervise loan origination, appraisal, disbursement and recovery, and monitor the branch’s portfolio quality and repayment performance.
- Ensure the branch complies with the Bank’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash management, operational controls, security and accurate record-keeping.
- Address customer concerns promptly and maintain high service standards.
- Track branch performance, prepare reports and implement corrective actions where needed.
