The role
- The Assistant Manager supports the Hospitality Operations Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the daily operational standards of Misan & Co. This is a hands-on role requiring close attention to the condition of our spaces, the readiness of each event and the comfort of every guest.
- You will coordinate preparations, supervise housekeeping and event support staff, guide vendors and ensure that agreed arrangements are executed accurately and on time. Before each booking, you will review the event brief, inspect the space and confirm that furniture, equipment, supplies and service arrangements are ready. During events, you will remain available to guests, anticipate their needs and address routine issues promptly, escalating matters that require the Manager’s approval.
- The role also includes inventory checks, equipment care, incident reporting, post-event inspections and ensuring that spaces are cleaned, reset and secured after use. You will be expected to identify problems early, follow tasks through to completion and maintain standards when the Manager is absent.
- Success in this role means events run smoothly, guests feel thoughtfully cared for and routine operations are handled reliably without constant founder intervention.
