Accounting Intern

Core Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable AP: Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, code expenses, and prepare payments.
• Accounts Receivable AR: Generate customer invoices, track incoming payments, record deposits, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconciliation: Match bank statements and general ledgers to identify and fix discrepancies.
• Data Entry: Input financial transactions, journal entries, and receipts into accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Record Keeping: Organize, file, and secure digital or physical financial documents.
• Reporting & Audits: Assist with month-end/year-end closing procedures and pull documentation for internal or external audits.

Requirements

• Must have a background in Accounting and stay around Ajah, Lagos.
