Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Sangotedo, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, track property sale payments, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting at our Sangotedo office.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate books of accounts and record all daily financial transactions
2. Track and record client payments, instalments, deposits, and outstanding balances for property sales
3. Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and payment schedules
4. Reconcile bank statements, manage petty cash, and prepare periodic financial reports for management
5. Process payroll, commissions for sales staff/agents, and staff expense reimbursements
6. Handle statutory remittances and tax filings (PAYE, VAT, pension, etc.)
7. Support management during audits and ensure financial records are always audit-ready

Job Qualifications

1. HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Professional qualification (ICAN/ANAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
3. Minimum of 2-4 years’ accounting experience (real estate experience is an advantage)
4. Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
5. Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax/statutory requirements
6. Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and ability to handle confidential information
7. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Sangotedo or its environs.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 monthly.
