Job Role

1. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support business decision-making.
2. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
4. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and filing returns.
5. Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate financial documentation.
6. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
7. Monitor inventory and cost control, and provide financial insights to management.
8. Maintain confidentiality and ensure all financial processes are in line with company policies.

Job Qualifications

1. B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ICAN / ACCA certification is an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 3-4 years proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in FMCG, retail or trading.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
4. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
5. Excellent attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
6. High level of integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
7. Must reside within or be willing to easily access Victoria Island.

Salary
Salary: N250,000 – N400,000 monthly + Benefits.
