Job Position: Account Officer (Commercial Lighting)

Job Summary

1. We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to manage the financial records and transactions for our commercial lighting business.
2. The ideal candidate will oversee invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting. The role requires strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work with financial systems.

Job Responsibilities

1. Generate and issue invoices to clients for lighting products and services.
2. Post financial transactions accurately into the accounting system.
3. Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
4. Prepare management accounting reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking.
5. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
6. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
7. Coordinate with sales and operations teams on order and revenue tracking.

Job Qualifications

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
