We are a premium professional service firm domiciled in Africa and with our partnership with global organizations, we are able to leverage on technology to provide strategic Business solution.Salary: ₦100,000 Gross per month About the Role HRLeverage Africa is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable Audit and Tax Consulting Firm, for the position of Account Officer. The successful candidate will support the firm\'s accounting and financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and documentation. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records. Assist with the preparation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities. Support the preparation of periodic financial reports and schedules. Assist in monitoring client accounts and following up on outstanding payments where required. Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date. Provide support during audit and tax engagements by preparing relevant financial documents and schedules. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Good numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in an accounting or audit environment is an added advantage.
